This is a basic Mandarin Chinese language program designed for beginners by Professor Teh-ming Yeh, who has over 30 years of experience in teaching Chinese. This CD title is composed of two sections: a Ten-Day Course and a Self-Learning course . The ultimate goal of both courses is to teach beginners Chinese pronunciation efficiently and systematically. The 10-day course drills learners from the very basic skills to a deep knowledge of Chinese pronunciation, step by step. The Self-Learning Course contains six programs and allows students to learn Chinese pronunciation according to their own schedule. The course teaches both Hanyu Pinyin and Mandarin Phonetic Symbols, and all audio was recorded by native speakers.
